
Dallas Cowboys practice-squad linebacker Jerry Brown killed in a one-car accident Saturday, teammate Josh Brent charged with intoxication manslaughter.
The Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle was arrested early Saturday morning in Irving, Tx. The City of Irving jail website has him charged with Intoxication Manslaughter. It is unclear if teammate Jerry Brown was killed in that accident. In a statement release by Jerry Jones today, he stated: ”We are deeply saddened by the news of this accident and the passing of Jerry Brown. At this time, our hearts and prayers and deepest sympathies are with the members of Jerry’s family and all of those who knew him and loved him.”
Brent, 24, was scheduled to start this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. He has started several games this year in place of Jay Ratliff.
