Reports have surfaced that Samsung has created a smartphone with a 5.8-inch screen. The cell phone/tablet hybrid is being labeled as a “Fonblet” and would be sold in Europe, according to some sources.
The cell phone has come a long way from ‘The Fonblet.’ In 1983, the Motorola DynaTAC became the first cell phone that was available to the public. With a price tag of $4,000 (that’s nearly $9,000 today), the Motorola DynaTAC was state of the art in 1983. Today it is affectionately known as “The Brick.”
