No. 5: If you want to bring a carry-on bag with you on discount carrier Sprit Airlines, you better make sure it fits under the seat in front of you. Putting your bag in the overhead bin will cost you $35 at booking, $40 when checking in online, $50 at the airport kiosk and $100 at boarding.
No. 4: If for some reason you end up needing a third checked bag, don’t do it on American Airlines. They charge the most domestically for that third bag with a whopping $150 fee.
No. 3: Bringing Fido with you on your vacation? To check your pet on Delta, that will cost $200 each way. To have the pleasure of putting your pet underneath the seat in front of you will run $125 in both directions. If you really want your dog or cat on your Hawaiian vacation, that’s $225 checked on Hawaiian Airlines, $175 in the cabin each way.
No. 2: Back to Spirit Airlines. Are you thirsty? A bottle of water will cost you $3.
No. 1: We are going international. RyanAir charges 60 Euros to print your boarding pass at the airport. Called their ‘Airport Boarding Card Re-Issue Fee,’ if you don’t print your boarding pass at home, it’ll cost you about $81 US per person.
