Forget coffee mugs and pens. Advertisers are putting their logos on just about anything these days.
The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) just wrapped up its annual Dallas show today, and the swag was pretty spectacular.
“Three years ago somebody actually logo-ed a goat,” said Joe Haley, ASI managing editor. “That’s a little extreme, but you can put a logo on a lot of different things.”
“A lot of suppliers, the quality is going up. People do want better merchandise than was traditionally thought of in the past,” said Jim Bull, VP of sales at Starline USA.
“You get the appreciation of having a piece that you can use over and over again and you remember who you got it from and that’s what we’re selling: advertisement on a good, useable piece,” said Kevin Mulrooney, of Diversified-Adtee.
