Movie POPins – Rogue TV series a first from Direct TV

A handful of new movies debut this weekend, and an action packed TV series is about to hit cable.

Rogue debuts April 3rd  on the Audition Channel. This is the first time they’ve developed original programming. There are a lot of  new non traditional video outlets (HULU, NETFLIX) making episodic series now days. Because of their success others are joining in trying to get a bigger piece of the revenue.

We sat down with Leah Gibson and Joshua Sasse to talk about Direct TV’s new television series. See more of  the  interview below.

Check out the full trailer.

Starring: Thandie Newton, Marton Csokas, Joshua Sasse, Leah Gibson

ROGUE revolves around Grace (THANDIE NEWTON), a morally and emotionally-conflicted undercover detective who is tormented by the possibility that her own actions contributed to her son’s death. Grace’s search for the truth is further complicated by her forbidden relationship with Jimmy (MARTON CSOKAS), the crime boss who may have played a hand in the crime. A smart, complex, character-led thriller, ROGUE explores loss, grief, identity, family bonds, second chances and redemption.
