New DoT Guidelines Aim To Cut Distracted Driving

Know someone who drives while distracted? Well, bad news! The Department of Transportation released new guidelines that will make some auto manufacturers limit the number of electronic devices in vehicles. That includes communications, entertainment, and navigation tools. The agency says devices should be designed so drivers do not have to look away from the road for more than two-seconds at a time, or 12 seconds total.
