1 WTC Gets Its Topper, Tower Almost Complete

A big day in New York City as construction crews raised the final section of the spire to the top of One World Trade Center. It will eventually make the building the tallest in the western hemisphere. Right now, it is sitting on a temporary structure on the roof. Iron workers will permanently attach it later. The 408 foot spire will serve as a broadcast antenna.
