The government is auctioning off a plane that was formerly part of the presidential air fleet and sometimes acted as Air Force One. According to the auction page, the McDonnell Douglas DC-932, which was in use between 1975 and 2005, “was not the official Air Force One.” But various presidents had to use it on occasion. This particular jet was used most by the First Lady’s and congressional delegations.
