A bra ban doesn’t hold up in Milwaukee! Officials locked horns with the owner of an historic bowling alley who had some very interesting decor. When city inspectors said dozens of bras hanging from the ceiling were a fire hazard, the Holler House was forced to remove them or face a fine. The owner amassed the collection from customers over the past 45 years. Many times people signed, dated, and left notes on the bras. But the 84 year old great grandmother was not going to let the fire code kill her tradition. Public support quickly grew across the city and officials backed down.
