A United Dreamliner flight took off from Houston today, and it’s the first Dreamliner to fly since January. The planes were grounded for months because of problem batteries. The batteries were blamed for several incidents, including an emergency landing and a fire, though no one was seriously hurt in either incident. The grounding also disrupted schedules at eight airlines that were flying the planes. Boeing has delivered 50 of the aircraft worldwide. DFW-based American Airlines has an order of 42 that’s scheduled to be delivered in November of next year.
