The Spectacular Now – A talk with the Director

On this Movie Popins we take a look at two new movies that are based on charismatic characters that are loved and hated equally. One is “The Spectacular Now” which looks closely at a popular teen struggling to find who he is, and the other “Jobs” is a look at the Icon and founder of Apple, Steve Jobs.

The Spectacular Now is an American comedy-drama film directed by James Ponsoldt, written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber of 500 days of Summer, and starring Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley. The film premiered at Sundance in 2013.
