Bomb Threat Evacuates American Airlines Flight

A bomb threat forced the evacuation of passengers and crew from an American Airlines flight Monday.

The jet left Dallas Fort Worth International Airport just before 11 a.m. bound for Columbus, Ohio; the flight arrived at Port Columbus International Airport without incident. Officials kept the plane away from the main terminal until the ‘all clear’ was given. Local media report, ‘A threatening note was found on board during descent.’ A bomb squad and K-9 unit were brought in to inspect the plane — no devices were discovered.

However, CONTRARY to the title on your article, deplaning passengers through the Aft Air-stairs, onto waiting buses, hardly qualifies as an "evacuation."
