Gas Prices Expected to Drop in 2014

Gas prices have been sliding down over 2013, and that trend is expected to continue in the new year.

AAA says the average over the year was about $3.49 a gallon; AAA and Gasbuddy predict it will drop more in 2014.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration predicts gas will cost an average of $3.43 a gallon.

Currently, the national average for regular unleaded is $3.32 a gallon. Texas’ average is at $3.13 a gallon and in north Texas, the average for regular unleaded is $3.16 a gallon.
