Auto Workers Get Record Profit Sharing

Strong car sales in 2013 will likely mean bigger profit-sharing checks for Detroit autoworkers.

Final earning reports for General Motors, Ford motor and Chrysler group are expected to be released in the next few weeks.

That means the average profit-sharing checks from the three automakers could total $18,000.

Several media outlets report that’s about $125 more than the record, set in 1999.
