Flu Deaths Rising in North Texas

Flu deaths are rising in north Texas and vaccines are limited.
According to the Tarrant County Public Health Department, three more people have died from the flu, bringing the toll to five since flu season began in the fall. One of the deceased had gotten a flu shot, but had underlying health conditions; the others had not had flu shots.
Five children total have died from the flu in Texas. Dallas County has reported 26 deaths from flu-related illnesses.Dallas County officials are encouraging parents to get their children flu shots, even as local vaccine supplies are decreasing.
